This is one of the only images I really liked from Michael Dweck’s Habana Libre, a book of photos— many of which look like they could have come from porny ad shoots for A&F or, well, Forever 21— of the ‘creative elite’ in Havana. This one, though, captures it for me, the woman’s glamor and boredom, the angle of her legs and the guts of the car and the moon above her. Habana Libre opened last week at the Fototeca de Cuba.
