Juana la Cubana is a 93 year-old national treasure. We used to go see her on Friday nights at the Gato Tuerto, a teeny club in front of Havana’s Hotel Nacional— she’d shimmy up to unsuspecting men and grin deliciously, shamelessly at the ones who’d grab her waist and dance.
