On the occasion of the recent publication of my very first piece of film criticism— on Guernica and of zombie flick Juan de los Muertos and TriBeCa Film Fest darling Una Noche— I’ve begun to listen again to Habana Abierta, the band that did the music for another Cuban film, Habana Blues.
